Drama Project - An Introduction

For our next piece we have been asked to create a drama piece in groups of six. Our given theme is 'Journey' this can be shown in a variety of way for example;

• Travelling from one place to another, usually taking a rather long time (trip).
• Distance, course, or area travelled or suitable for travelling.
• Period of travel.
• Passage or progress from one stage to another.
• When thinking of a narrative idea for our project we should be thinking about:

The suggestion of movement (beginning in one place or state, and ending in another.
Suggestion of narrative.
Is the journey physical, emotional, or metaphysical?
Is the journey through linear time, or does it jump back and fourth within time?
Is the journey in the past, present, or future?
Is the journey personal, or that of another person, object, or thing?
The notion of quest.
The notion of pilgrimage.
Our Drama piece should consist of no more than 3 Characters and Locations, and should be outside of the university campus.
We must be pay attention to detail with the sound design and the mise-en-scene within the shots.
The roles that people will be undertaking are:

Sound Recordist - Amy Jackson.
Picture Editor - Stella Harriet.
Sound Editor - Alex Coates.

We will be making sure that we fulfil our role to our full potential researching into the roles before undertaking them.
