DRAMA PIECE – GARY (homeless guy)
• First part of the film is medium close up...at reveal that he is homeless (wide shot displaying his true self)
• Best friend BEN – Past story – “Me and Ben used to.....” – reveal towards end...Ben is a dog

• Likes collecting things (off the floor) – considers himself a collector (shot) – shows his favourite collectible...something to give him luck?....shows old ripped pictures of his children
• Loves travelling – moves around on the train (shot) – back story – used to be a bus / train conductor
• Has a trolley – Uses to move around belongings (reveal with wide shot about half way through)
• Became homeless from his gambling problem – back story on how it started
• Lost his family – (INT shot bills coming through door, door slamming, looking alone etc)
• Dreams of going to Vegas
• Likes drinking in pubs for the culture but not anymore because he’s lonely (shot in pub alone)

• Love interest – Speaks of a beautiful woman who he cares for a lot etc? In reality she is a business woman who gives him 29p everyday...whilst he begs outside a shop early in the morning (change from cigarettes) but never says a word to her (Shot)
